While no fan of Lott, I see a divergence of standards in any suggestion he relinquish his position. The Senate currently contains:
"Smilin" Joe Biden, who got kicked out of a presidential race for STEALING his speeches.
Traitor John Kerry, who returned from Vietnam, went on television, and called the government he now wants to lead "criminals".
The family idiot, Ted Kennedy, who got fucked-up and killed his secretary.
Hillary Clinton, who ran interference for a huge real estate rip off in Arkansas.
Frank Lautenberg, who ran for the Senate ILLEGALLY, after his party fired the legal candidate for being a loser.
Mary Landrieu and Tim Johnson, who were elected by fraud.
Over 3 dozen Democrats who abandoned their Constitutional oaths and lined up behind the tawdry fix of an impeachment trial.
And I won't even get into the human abortions who occupy the enemy positions in the House.
So we can condemn Lott for sheer stupidity-which is hardly anything new in his case-but he's right in with a rogue's gallery were he fits like a glove.
In necessary reforms of the US Senate, Lott is not even on the short list.
To use a Vietnam phrase that Traitor John Kerry may have been familiar with: I know it's a shitty deal, but that's the deal... |
