We need to be wary of entangling alliances. I'd say my response is that article produces a cautious sense of hopefulness, but we need to be careful about presuming that the enemy of our enemy is our friend. I'd say that is why we are where we are in the Mid-East now. We've tried it with the Soviet Union in WWII. We've tried that with Israel. We've tried it with other countries or entities in the 20th century. I'm remembering other freedom fighters with whom we allied ourselves.
