On multiple occasions I have stated that the extremists are NOT amenable to reason--that religion precludes that. However, my point is that they live in countries, e.g., Jordan where reason could be applied. There is no hope in reasoning with the extremists, but there is a need to get the moderates on our side. That is precisely why I posted the Jordan news. fred
