Re: the 10 DVD providers. It's just as it implies. Some of the DVD suppliers made it too easy to defeat the regional coding. (You could play American titles in Japan, a no no). For instance on the early Sony players, take the top off. There's a switch to turn off regional coding. Guess they thought FredE didn't have a screw driver... As far as the agreement goes Sony for one, will remove the switch.... Re: HP I don't know who's chip is in it. IF it was Zoran I'm sure they would have a press release somehow. That leaves Cube or Chromatic.
