Dear ET: Let me tell you how I feel. I personally have no great love for Lott. Not cause of what he said, but cause he is STUPID IMHO. He is a great calming influence usually, quick to come to a compromise, etc etc which is probably why he is the head of the Senate, but he is a DUMMY IMHO. HOWEVER, this clamor is RIDICULOUS. Pure BS, pure POWER POLITICS. Its not gonna stop until someone stands up and says something like, I SAID THIS TO HUMOR AN OLD MAN, MY RECORD IN VOTING SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. You dont like it VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Far as I can see the only Blacks making a big deal out of this are a bunch of ASSHOLES that would never vote Republican anyway. I have seen some BLACK CONGRESSPEOPLE that are BIGGER RACISTS then anything LOTT ever thought of in his worst day. jdn
