Re George Gilder I still read his "Technology Report" where he continues to rave on about the "telecosm". Gilder is very knowledgeable about the tech world but has no clue about the financial side of the business - could not value a company to save his life never said "overvalued" to any company no matter where the stock price got, and has no understanding of a company's need to earn money to survive - both displayed in his huge investment into Global Crossing. He is good in predicting technological trends and finding out about the leaders in these areas, but he is useless in anything to do with investment decisions.
