For an absolutely fun moment on the old Gilder thread, look up Pat Mudge's posts. She, writing at the top of the bubble, took Gilder's business analysis of one company, I think it was Avanex, she took it apart. I mean genuinely took it apart. His defenders tried to put it back together but Pat, as always, had done her homework and some. That was a defining moment on that little thread.
