I agree! I still think it is a $50-75 stock down the road 12-18 months.
I listened to the conference call which was quite upbeat. The only
thing I was not nuts about was that they lost 3Com as a customer (due to
lack of global presence at the time - largely being fixed with Ireland
operation) but more than made up for it with an expanded relationship
with Bay Networks. Thus, their largest customer is now more than 30%
of total. This cuts both ways - more than an incidental relationship
with a big company is a tribute to ACT, but also represents more risk
relative to concentration with one customer. (Bay does seem to be doing
better now.) Note that they mentioned a few new names on the call so
they are continuing to add new clients, despite concentrating more with
one, and seem to be moving quickly to expand their presence in the
Southeast with the new Georgia acquisition. They were still OK with
meeting analysts expectations for the rest of the year and quite
upbeat about the longer term outlook as well.
