one has to take everything into perspective... abuse in a third world country, that is say 50 years behind, is not the same as abuse in the most advanced country... so, whether it is 1 out of every three or one out of every 50 women in America that is a rape victim, that is irrelevant... and actually, it is worse in such advanced society than in the lagging society... to say that it's such a small percentage... in fact negligible... well, tell a rape victim that !
