My long term view is inflation fairly soon with the Stagflation gradually turning into an inflationary boom. Then will come a future Volker type to put the screws on. Just before then is when we should be making our final PM exits. Some time later the next great secular stock market boom will begin a la 1982 (to everyone's then surprise).
We of course will be there for it.
Much work remains for us, but at least we can see-we are not blind as the vast majority of the public seems to be:

From Nspolar (and really he is as good as anyone):
<My reasoning is that I don't believe deflation is over, nor will it be for some time. But gold is going higher here, and some day deflation will cease and the economy will transform to a more inflationary one. Then gold will go yet much higher. It isn't going to happen overnight, but for those who read the charts correctly, and get in and out at the right times, it means lots of profits.>

Why can only a very few see this? It just seems so clear.
