That's your realm, so I punt.<< Interesting info(thanks)...I didn't realize Aventis spun them off(I heard earlier this year Aventis shut down a gene therapy lab in your neck of the woods). Ad vectors have improved dramatically in the last 10 yrs... still maynot be ideal for long term gene expression, but for treating cancer...they may be suffice. Ad should be able to infect the tumors cells well, and one can concentrate them into high titers. Whether 2 weeks or so of expression is long enough for a therapeutic effect...time will tell. If I remember correctly, I think French Anderson(?) said that he thought the Ad-p53 treatment was very promising. My concern is when do they have to get more $$$ and can they get it w/o being robbed(IF they're stuff is legit, they might be a munch candidate). If I have the time and remember, I'll try to track down a couple of my friends who went to the Cancer Gene Therapy meeting in SD to see what they thought...bwdik?
