Ibexx, Maybe "Bill" has been talking to "Andy"..He had the street with a lower whisper number than the consensus number and things turned out OK. They had the street scared. My aunt in her mid 80's called her broker and wanted to buy some more Intel right after the announcement of lower earning and the stock dropped to $139 or so. Anyway her broker would not let her buy any because Intel was in "big" trouble. This was Dean Witter. This lady does business with several houses so called another one of her brokers to get her position. We will see how many brokers now think Microsoft is in "big" trouble.

BTW, this Dean Witter broker wanted her to buy Novel because it is a takeover candidate. Just the reason one buys a stock--not because they are a good company.:-)
