Doug you got it McGraw-Hill and the other big money infringers of the patent are grinding their ax. Its not whether the patent's claims are valid or not. To the big money defendants, its search and destroy. Like Watergate, Pentagon Papers, the philosophy is swithch the focus from the truth to sifting thru irrelevant (to the truth of the validity of the claims) dirt to try to discredit GIFT and all shareholders (us) from what we are truly entitled.

To the extent that THEY have accomplished their goals by causing losses, by the "reckless discregard of the truth" THEY (whoever they may be) have set themselves up for a Defamation law suit that carries with it damages + punative damages. If it appears to be the case, in light of NY Times vs Sullivan, et al and its progany of 1st Amendment cases, which shows reasonable probability of success of such a lawsuit and sufficient resulting award of damages, this should be considered. Retaining attorneys on a "contingency fee basis" may be the way to go.

These are my initial impressions. Mel
