After logging the previous post, I watched 20/20 last evening. They aired a segment on current airport security. Their analysist pointed out that only two U.S. airports currently employ state-of-the-arts bomb detection technology (1 unit at SF & 2 at Atlanta), that "only one company offers such technology" (InVision, not mentioned by name.) He went on to note that Congress has already mandated such safe-guards without impact. Concluding this coverage, it was noted that the current level of airport security is based on the 1970's hi-jacker threats from "guns and knives." Given today's sophisticated terrorists, this emphasis, along with the "minimum wagers" implimenting these safeguards are very inadequate.

I see a very busy year for InVision! Wonder how long it will be before cars entering parking structures, etc. will be routinely scanned by their devices instead of going either unchecked or given only a "mirror on a stick" search. Many countries already employ frequent check-points in an effort to detect explosives....I, regretfully, see this list lenghtening.
