You are silly. Living in a house is my house.

Living in your country is your country. The same principle applies here, and it only takes just a pee wit's brain to see it.

I have never owned a slave, my Daddy never owned a slave, and his Daddy never owned a slave, and as far as I know his daddy never owned a slave.

But the benefits we all enjoy can be quite handily traced to the backs of slaves. Without them, America would by no means at all be the land of prosperity it is. Because of the way in which America arrived at its current state, part of its roof is caved in. Since we all enjoy the ill-gotten gains and yet live in a country, the roof of which is caved in, self-respect requires that we seek to repair the dang roof.

I worked my ass off for anything I have ever had. Most of the time elbow to elbow with minorities.

You did not work for everything you have. Your ability to work and progress is traceable to slavery. But those minorities with which you've worked also have an obligation to repair the damage. Due to their circumstances in history and as modern Americans, the means by which they must pay may be different, but they must also pay. We all live in the same dang house.

You are also silly to think that X dollar amount could or would ever satisfy any "debt" that any one race thinks is owed them. That is folly.

Never said anything about paying a dang cent. Perhaps consider developing more than a dang medulla for a brain and then use it to read my posts.
