when in fact their democracy is a farce and "democracy" itself doesn't mean "right" or "good," witness "democratic" Nazi-germany or Apartheid South Africa. Actually Salim, you should not let your anger against Israel take the better of you. Israeli democracy, however imperfect, is light years ahead of the dictatorships from the surrounding Arab countries. Moreover, whatever many problems democracy might have (such as South Africa or Nazi Germany) all other non-democratic systems have too.. times a thousand. My greatest wish is that someone like Martin Luther King Jr. emerged as a Palestinian leader, teaching non-violent resistance and galvanizing all his people towards non-violence. The leadership from the Palestinian cause has been tremendously incompetent. Palestinians need a Martin Luther King, a Mandela that can galvanize public opinion in their favor so that a just solution for all parties involved is found.
