it's unfair to paint the entire gaming industry with ATVI's report. ATVI titles have performed poorly. it's not hard to see this, there are a bunch of industry sources for "best selling games," (as well as retail sources, ie, you can go to amazon and right there see the top selling games at amazon). all these sources show ATVI's games lagging far behind. it's really that simple. as for the "Gaming is at a cyclical peak" argument. this is a more complex question that i haven't thought deeply about yet. suffice to say that i don't blindly believe it, nor am i convinced in its importance even if it is true because of the title-driven nature of the industry. ps. i am not invested in any game stocks.
