Of course. You would need to talk their language as well as I talk English, and travel to their lands, meet them, and make friends among people of that culture, like I have. <g> Difficult, but not impossible. No, I have too much humility to think that I can learn the subtleties of foreign cultures on the Internet. Heh. "Kateb" is a word. It is hardly the subtlety of a culture. Really, do you have a link for this Kateb Yassin guy who supposedly coin the proverb about the dog and the caravan? I would be interested to know. I could not find any such reference in Google and previously thought it was a proverb with no known origin.
