hi dealie- thanks for the recipe. i will indeed try it. my mother-in-law makes very good cheese straws but has never revealed her recipe. this recipe sounds like it may rival hers. i'll make them for our boxing day family get-together and we'll have a taste test. what have you been up to. are you all ready for christmas? rose
