i'm convinced that natural law is perfect in
design and that any path toward disaster will
eventually be corrected by the lessons learned
from the pain of the results of that disaster.


i wish i were convinced of that, but i don't
believe we've learned anything from any war -
up to and including those of the past century:
WWI, WWII, korean war, vietnam ... except how to
kill more people more efficiently
