Didn't Erkki also say something about EU trying to get some organized system implemented for the 3G
auctions, and btw, talking finnish winters, didn't the first auction play out really kind of different (in
FInland) than that second one, which obviously was the first major one, and had to be it, to be what it
was supposed to be..
But I guess some commentators weren't around then, nor have they followed the debate and
interviews, debates, etc that Liikanen has participated in since those days...
Bless those jourrnalists so that they can earn their pay
Btw, the 2008 estimate was mentioned already then, but some thought it would be better for
the hyped operator growth to boost both share holder value and auction costs, somewhat
suicidal but it depends on the target. |
