BTW- I'm amazed that Venezuelan strike has gone on for so long.....it should be coming to a head soon...likely with a little bloodshed, but I don't see how Chavez survives. The opposition correctly saw oil as the end game, and with 80% of PDVSA on strike, how are they going to run the company? It does remind me, however, that the most efficient communication network in the world will never be the internet, rather you go to cities like Caracas (probably any Latin city), and something important/of interest is told to one person....and its freakin' amazing, everyone knows about it by the weekend. The tightest of family/friend circles, informal communication there is amazing (something move happy- leave your parents behind Americans can't begin to understand). Actually, there is only a certain group of folks who can get things done there, and the circles are very tight-knit, information travels lightening-speed..Look how they can mobilize 1m+ people on a day's notice!
