Doren, The key is good pictures on your own site. Start the auctions on wednesdays for 10 days and start them at 10 PM Pacific time. That gets them two weekends of people at home browsing and it closes whan most people acreoss the USA can get on line.
Do not close when people at work. An extra 10 cents foor 3 more days is peanuts.

Research sales of your item both in current items and past items via search and make sure you get the max keywords in about your item, as long as they are accurate terms. The true art is in getting a description that will come up on many searches = many bidders.
Place a reasonable fixed amount for US mail as the shipping cost for USA. If they want Fedex let them ask and pay for it.
That way they can bid and have a known final cost.

That is all there is to Ebay sales. If you live in a large city go to a central reference library and see what they have. There are a few Ebay magazines. There are books in them. An Amazon search will find a few more.
