David... .Let me say first I am pro choice.

I used to be. However, with the advances in birth control, and the pills you can take up to a month after, to control conception, I see no reason that a woman would need more time than that to make a choice. If she needs more time, then I would suggest that other factors; like can I get my boyfriend to marry me, or will my parents help me raise the baby; are the reasons, and they aren't good enough reasons. There are a lot of couples out there who want babies. I just can't see that adoption is a poorer choice physically or mentally. That said, I do approve of abortion in special cases where the fetus is deformed or has a mental defect.
