Lee, would like to make only 3 remark to your post -

1. there is archeological evidence that the people who call themselves Jews were living there for over 2500 years and were several time deported / subjugated from Assyrians, to Egyptians to Romans to Arabs to Crusaders

2. Mohammed the founder of the Islam designed a religion to bring himself to power by very bloody means. Yes history is filled with similar event but the difference is that it has not turned in a religion that justifies massacres and murders to achieve power

3. The Koran outlines in detail why Jews should be killed as should be Christians and other "nonbelievers" the point is that Islam lets any religious appointee to interpret and issue new orders / laws (fathwa) and there is the problem.

As to my misunderstanding - my apologies

BTW have you heard of the huge massacre around the turn of the last century of million of Christians by Muslims in what is now Syria, Iraq, Turkia etc.?
