My system has been pretty stable for some time now.

I had numerous problems after trying to use the DayTrader applet, but after a complete system collapse and a $50. charge to phone for Microsoft technical help, I cleared everything related to that attempt, and things have been working well.

I've been using version -94 of the live ticker.
It's been quite stable. Hasn't disconnected in weeks.

Today, version -95 became available.

I loaded version -94.
It disconnected sometime around 12:30 EST.

I was having trouble getting it to reconnect even when I closed and tried to reopen it, so I opened version -95.

Shortly after that my computer crashed.

Anyone else having a similar problem?

I'm using Windows 98.
