The idea of total destruction and eradication seems to me to go with the death camp idea, since extermination seems to be aimed at a class of objects, not merely a group of individuals. But it is subject to interpretation.

It seems to me that the strongest part of your case would be "other inhumane acts". Even so, I think that an exigency defense would normally be acceptable in any criminal trial, even if the word "justification" is not uttered in that context. In other words, sometimes one has to choose the lesser of two evils.......
