I am from Florida. I like to say I was here when the Spanish left and here when they returned. (gg) I suspect the reason blacks are not more into national politics as first off it takes A LOT OF MONEY anymore to mount a campaign and secondly, its just like women breaking into top corporate positions, took time. In my youth women who went to college got a degree in teaching, now its anything they want and many of the business classes now have more women in them then men. Now that there are no social barriers for blacks I suspect you will see more and more of them entering national politics. john
