Bush is giving no money to Homeland Security. None. Odd don't you think? Even though the congress has appropriated it. Could be a sign Bushies know the government is close to broke now. HS should be a priority but isn't. Expect Democrats to run to the right of Bush on terrorism and Homeland Security. Despite his hawkish stances, Bush has very few successes against terrorism. That is why as Dick Morris put it Bush hopes he doesn't run out of wars with Axis Of Evil members. The Axis Of Evil is a marketing project. It has little to do with reality. But if it sells to the American people that could be the only way Bush will beat John Kerry despite the worst prolonged recession of any president since Jimmy Carter. The erason Kerry will be the nominee is that he's the one candidate who can be a dove sometimes without being accused of being weak. After all he killed enemy with his bare hands and saved his troops. Bush and Cheney were both war-dodgers. As were most in the Republican leadership. And Kerry may run with McCain if Bush keeps pissing McCain off.
