Well, if by speculating you mean posting crap on this thread with no basis in a desparate and pathetic attempt to move a stock price, no.

If by speculating you mean being in AMH for the short term, yes.

This rumour comes from a broker tip. She has been right 3 out of 3 times that I didn't act, but this time I bought in. She tells me that Fujitsu will buy our AMH today or early next week (before end of month).

The logic makes sense, and so does the financial side of it. With mainframes coming back in vogue for big IS projects (not wishful thinking, but experience - I left IBM about a year ago and the heat was on to meet customer demand for new big iron), then the Japanese would be wise to get a subsidiary out of AMH. IBM Japan was one of the fastest growing hotspots, followed by large IS shops using 390 systems as a data/transaction engine fronted by web servers for elec. commerce.

If I don't see it by end of Aug, I will be out, because the recovery on their own picture for AMH without a big brother is too slow and long term for me.

Just my take.

Ross
