Dennis,
I agree....Microsoft's earnings should be interesting. I'm not as sure on theirs as I was Intel, but with ms you never can tell. Regarding investment companies, interestingly the one which I had mentioned, KINN, had a big increase in volume on Friday with a nice gain in share value, although exactly why is unclear to me. No news or articles, although I would guess someone must have spoken well of them somewhere or changed a rating. I know their earnings are due shortly. Curiously, they were also the first ones to deem RAIN worth following, having the first analyst involved.....either they're bright or their home base in Minnesota allowed them to see things soones. Either way, still bright....it's that combo of skill and luck which lets you take advantage of something which just happened to originate in your backyard, I guess. I also like your thought about someone small with good fundamentals....in this area they might get big quickly or by way of a big fish jumping in.....the way of bank mergers, which seems to be what will be happening a lot with investment companies this year. I hope you listen to your assistants' advice, or you might find that a lot of effort will be expended on seeking out new management. The next big area to waste a lot of time on should be biotech.....lots of prospects and lots of time needed to research, but that shouldn't be a problem for someone who needs as little sleep as you obviously do. Anyway, looking forward to the DW opening. I expect it to bring in some major earnings over the course of the year, and even if people aren't satisfied with 2Q earnings, they won't be able to ignore 3Q and 4Q.
Have a good weekend researching,
