Good Morning Neocon: If I may jump in here......(I'm probably going to wish I hadn't) You said it yourself, "apparent endorsement of segregation." What we have here, of course, is the old double standard. Something a Republican says is blown out of proportion and run with by the Democrats and media until the Republicans cave and get rid of the "offending" party. Something a Democrat says is ignored. Bill said it well yesterday that the Republicans remove theirs and move on, and the Democrats just spray more perfume on their putrid smell. I don't wish to get into which was worse, it's all already been beaten to death. I have NEVER been a fan of Lott's, I think he has given in way too many times to the Democrats, specifically Daschle and the whole thing regarding Senate committee leadership posts. Good riddance to him, let's move on, and let's get some leadership that will lead again, like '94. Regards, BobP
