Rick, thanks for your ref. I'll start doing my homework. Triptans do help after the attack starts -- she uses Immitrex (sp?) but it gives her a "hangover" and often rebound headaches. Goes for DHE injection for really bad ones. She uses the Sansert daily to prevent the attacks. She still gets some, but it's liveable. Every 4 or 5 months she has to go off the Sansert for a month, and it's really hell. I can't imagine having to live like that...
