Apple management I agree, Amelio's actions is not impressive. Focusing on profitability than any long term strategy. He has assembled a team of people that do not have an impressive record. The most recent hiree, according to businessweek, in the past said the Internet was a non-issue. Apple needs new ideas and focus. They still have too many models and they are prices still too high to be effectively competitive. They need to release Copeland by year end, no more delays. The brain drain is also not a good sign. They need to attract more developers and reward them. Short term road to profitability, long term road to failure. I believe Apple should merge with another company to achieve maximum penetration of their products. Consolidation is sometimes the best way to achieve goals. Amelio does not have any fresh ideas nor programs. Ex-mac user who had to migrate to windows simply because it was cheaper.
