You know, I've been thinking about Lott's situation since this whole thing started, and can't help but think he got exactly what the Republicans said he would..his eventual beheading by the Liberal press and the democrats.
Trent always tried so hard to play the "Can't we all get along type politics"
How many good Republicans lost elections because Lott had no back bone? It is now coming back to him...
He finally found out the hard way, no matter how nice you are to liberals and democrats, they want your slice of bread and theirs too!
When the Republicans in Congress impeached the felon, and threw the ball to Lott, all he could do was drop it and pick up confetti the democrats threw! He didn't want to upset the apple cart, and after all, our country was at risk! He has backed down from the democrats again and again, trying to keep the train on the track.
As most of you know, I've wanted Lott to resign since forever, but not because the democrats and liberals made him. I wanted him to resign because he was a big wimp, and afraid to stand up for Republican values, and rights.
Lott has now become another feather in the democrats hat...stomp the Republicans to the ground, and show no mercy...the lion has more food! |
