ACCPAC Acquires eWare
Friday December 20, 9:16 am ET

PLEASANTON, Calif., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ACCPAC International, Inc., a subsidiary of Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA - News), announced today that it has acquired eWare Limited of Dublin, Ireland. eWare is a developer of customer relationship management (CRM) software. A private label version of the eWare software, ACCPAC eCRM(TM), has been actively marketed by ACCPAC for the past 18 months under an OEM agreement with eWare. The product will continue to be marketed as ACCPAC eCRM. Ivan MacDonald, eWare President and CEO, Greg Casey, eWare Executive Vice President, and Alan Wyley, eWare Executive Vice President and COO, together with the entire eWare staff, are joining ACCPAC.

All of the shares are being offered by ACCPAC International, Inc. The offering will be managed by RBC Capital Markets, SoundView Technology Group and Adams, Harkness & Hill, Inc.

ACCPAC provides a broad range of end-to-end business management applications designed for small and mid-size businesses. Available applications include accounting, customer relationship management, human resource management, manufacturing, warehouse management and e-commerce.
