Archie, I'm a old timer by IO standards. I have been in IO for about a year and im still here. I must admit that I sold IO before the last split but kept a close following on it. Ok so here I am sitting on huge ammounts of profit. But being greede I want more So I am buying IO. I Started buying about a week ago and am still buying more. I don't consider myself a momentum investor at all, I just plane like the fundamentals of IO at these low prices. If you like you can go back over several months of postings and find the predction I had for IO price before the last split. You will find I called IO at $50 share split adjusted. Ok now IO is %50 below what I belive is a fare market value. I came at the $50 price by compairing IO to other companys that have a computer producct that is the standard like intell. IO is the standard. So i'm buying. There is a one two punch going on with IO frist a left with the Zip then a right with Jazz. Come on dose ANYONE think any competition has a chance of beating
IO as the standard? The answere is painfully ease eveant for compact. Compact dare not try to compeat in the consumer market for removable data storage. It's just a matter of time untell compact sign with IO. Then watch this stock take off. The Fact is people useing the Net are computer users and are able to communacate with each other on a global bases. We decicide what products we like and talk about them with each other. That is the best advertising there is, word of mouth. In this regard IO has the momentum. So for me ill go to chat rooms and tell people i'm downloading thee pictures, E mail, data, what ever to My ZIP drive and tell people how good it is. I love my Zip drive and cant think of useing a computer without one. To me it's like having a microwave oven in the Kitchen. When people come over my house and see the Zip , it's ease of use and all the great stuff that can be done with it they go out and buy one. As IO sales reflect this is happining and will keep happining for a long time
and will keep happining untell people get to the point that they are exchanging disks with there friends as they do today with the 1.44 floppy.
The Ability to exchange disk with friends, familly and work is why any other storage will fail. Were not talking about Coke verses Pepsi. Were talking NESESSARY compatibility. This whole thing is really a no brainer. IO has the lead, IO has the great product. IO is bringing down the price. The computer industery is still growing more and more people are buying computers and will keep buying them. And eveant the computer \ TV box OEM are starting to put IO stuff in there product. Talk about a no brainer. Making money in IO is easy. if the price gets ahead of it's self sell. If the price gets below it's self like now buy. For me ill buy more if IO gets any lower. I still have cash from IO profits. If the price keeps dropping and I run out of cash ill sell other stocks and buy more IO. At one time I had all my money in IO. Then I sold in the 50's. I bought back some at 37. in the 20's and if IO gets to the teens ill buy more. IF IO gets to the lower TEENS ill sell all other stocks and become fully invested in IO. Then ill set back like i have done before and wait.
This is the easest money I have ever made. So far I paid off all my bills bought a new car, motercycle, A bunch of toys, stopped working overtime, sent my wife on a trip to Japan, and still have lots of profit. The only problem I have is Capital gains taxes. I have the cash to pay them but sure don't like them. I got a pin from the last stockholders meeting from Io that says I hate capital gains taxes. Well thats the price of selling. I think in 97 I will have made anough money in IO to retire.
Ok to help myself get rich ill talk to others about the Zip. I am now and will continue to go into chat rooms and send and recive data and tell others i'm useing a very cool zip drive to do it. The people in these investment posts allready know how great the Zip is. Now it the time to Spread the word. I strongly suggest that every stock holder do the same. If we give Iomega this kind of advertising there Q3 can turn out to be a block buster. I would not write off Q3 without trying, I like money to much. Come on folks it easy and probably the easest money you could ever make. You can tell people of the limited rebate's. Spread the word. We have had the established Meada beat us down long enough. Time to use the power of the net and word of mouth advertising. There are a lot of share holders out there. The Key is not to try to get people to buy the stock the Key is to get people to buy Iomega products. A internet advertising blitz can only help. The establishment has been trying to figure out how to make money from the net for a long time. Well we can do this easly. All we need do is buy stock in a great company like IO. Then get others to buy it's product. As sales go up the stock price will take care of it's self.
By now i'm sure all of you get the idea. Ill post more about this process latter and would like to see posts as to how others are doing with helping IO sell product. Now lets do something to help ourselve and get rich doing it.
