Kerry? Hateful etc? Where do you get that? He is a genuinely wise, honest, concerned man who's never taken a shady dollar in his life. Accepted no soft or PAC money even when it was the vogue. Yes, he's smart and clever and can out-think Bush but does so more for the country's sake than for any personal gain. For example, back in 2000 he was the #1 democrat to speak out about Star Wars/SDI which Bush was in Europe trying to stuff down our allies throats. Kerry is not against SDI but pointed out very clearly that the real threat to our nation was from Al Qaida type attacks within our borders. He stated that an emphasis should be put on countering that threat rather than some highly unlikely scenario where China would attack us or North Korean (which has no ICBM's capable of reaching our shores and probably never will). Bush didn't listen. Next thing, we've got 9-11 and caught with our hands down. This is just typical John Kerry. He has foresight and he knows the issues as well as anyone in our government. He doesn't need Karl Rove or Rumsfield-Cheney to tell him what to do, and would certainly not gotten in bed with the Enrons of the world, who brought us the big phoyn energy crisis.
