Possibly, I like to think if I stay married and stay out of trouble, my only use for an attorney is a will. Yes, I know that is wishful thinking.

I worked for a fellow some years back. He was a VP for an electronics company in Minnesota. While on business in Holland, his top salesman was driving the car with him as a passenger. In the opposing lane of traffic there was a parked car. A large Mercedes passenger bus came into their lane to get around the parked car and hit their car head on. His salesman was instantly killed and he became a quadriplegic. After a number of years of litigation, the Holland courts offered him $50K. At that time, which was about 20 years ago it was the largest injury settlement to date in Holland. Holland does not award millions of dollars in injury settlements because everything is completely socialized and if you become disabled for whatever reason they will take care of you.

The moral to this story is that democrat lawyers may be surprised where the democrat party eventually leads them.

As for my friend, he was already a fairly wealthy man and he moved to Boulder Colorado to start a factory manufacturing metal wall studs. He would be over 60 now if he's still alive. Quads don't live to be very old.
