Well, folks, it's been a year since I attached a portfolio this thread and started making accountable calls. To bad for my account I didn't follow every one of them. The portfolio has returned 40% in that year, and was never even close to fully invested.

My thanks to everyone who helped with suggestions, particularly Ralf, who supplied several actionable calls. Should have done VRTX when he mentioned it, but ALKS has been a an ATM for the BSCP. I've noticed that most of the time that I call for opinions on some stock, it craters before I can get them.

With any luck, 2003 will be a tougher year for BSCP.

I would feel much better about saying 2003 will be a better year for biotech if it wasn't for the geopolitical situation. To say nothing of LLCF's macro warnings. I think that the first half of '03 is still perilous. As such, I will continue to hedge. I intend to follow my own calls more often. Call it an early New Year's resolution.

Still taking suggestions, should we get a Santa Claus rally/January Effect.

Cheers, Tuck
