I already said something to that effect at some point. I do watch black comedians. Of course making self deprecating jokes about your own ethnicity, in a comedy routine, is different from saying things from a political pulpit- imo. The problem in this case, for me, is that the response seems an over reaction. In my opinion no one needs to be thrown out or given a public spanking for the odd remark that can be taken the wrong way. What we ought to be concerned about are patterns of action that exhibit real prejudice to a group of people based on their sex, sexual practices, color, religion, etc.
