OT -- not really, though i do know that he is not considered to be among the top 5 pitching prospects in our system. he's a big kid (always good) but he's gonna turn 25 before the season starts and has had a rather un-distinguished minor-league career (in 50 starts at the A level he had a 4.10 ERA and only 205 Ks in 287 innings; in 38 starts at the AA level he had a 3.63 ERA and 188 Ks in 215 innings). if you're lucky he might turn into a 5th starter or an innings-eating middle reliever.
