China Internet Users Increase To 58 Million By End-October

That means China has the world's second-largest population of Internet users, the government-backed group was quoted as saying in the reports. CNNIC had previously estimated China's Internet users at 33.7 million at end-2001 and 45.8 million at end-June 2002.
