Lee, thanks ... I put 2 & 2 together and got 5 ... perhaps I should be an analyst !!.

I'm still cash ... with the odd day trade. I just don't like the charts. The general market trend is still down ... and the classic head and shoulders patterns I am watching are confirmed by the volume patterns. If it breaks up - fine .. but I won't be playing it till I see how it pans out.

On a related note.... an old question. We know historically that a new market sector leads each decade ... and some discussion was held about what could possibly lead the 2001-2010 time frame. Does anyone have any ideas now that the decade is underway??. So far housing, oil, gold, healthcare have all shown strength. Its probably time to revisit the pondering stone on this one ......and I was thinking of raising this on your thread Lee, if thats okay and not too far off market direction.

Thanks again,

Best regards

Stephen
