Our generator, which we've been working on since June, finally got delivered today. Or, at least brought to the property. There's still a chunk of work to get the thing in position -- it's about 500 pounds and has to go up on a concrete platform about 4 feet off the ground -- and then get hooked up.

But fortunately, the house is all wired for it.

So maybe, just maybe, we'll have it running by the time of the next storm.

if the next storm waits for awhile!!!!
