John Kerry is diplomatic and gets along well with Republicans. Hence the respect he has earned on all sides.
He always takes a careful look at things before opening his mouth and when eh does he makes perfect sense, even visionary sense. He is the first to come up with a lot of positive far-reaching ideas which will help our country, and since he doesn't kowtow to special interests he really IS thinking of us, not them (campaign contributors). What a refreshing change that will be. He would make an excellent president in terms of foreign and military affairs especially. No one is better informed. As for SDI, that's a very expensive "just in case" program. That money could be used for real homeland security which is currently not being funded by the White House at all despite congressional allocations. There is a good chance SDI could cost us 100 billion by the time the Bushies are fniished with it, and have absolutely no affect on our security.
