Kevin, RE: What does this bozo define as 'up for sale'? You are either for sale or not for sale. You will either consider offers, or not consider offers. It is a simple boolean question, and he tried to answer it both ways. It isn't a simple boolean question for legal reasons. He legally must say he will consider offers, otherwise he'll be sued for not intending to maximize shareholder wealth. But if he says the firm is up for sale, he MUST sell the firm, regardless of the bid price, even if it isn't in the best interest of shareholders. Don't blame LU or Corporate America, blame the lawyers.
