1.It's clean and the technology is ready to go, at least far more ready to go than Missille Defense. 2. It will take a great committment and the gradual acceptance by right-wingers to make happen, but start with a strong visionary President who isn't in the pockets of big oil, big coal and those in Detroit who want low efficiency. ywes there will be a vigorous debate on this but it's about time we overhauled our energy aned transportation systems. An ex Mobil executive I met recently loves Bush but admitted after our little debate that a first step (replacing every oil-burning furnace with a hydrogen one) 3.is feasible and makes a hell of a lot of sense. 4. The real blessing will be the disappearance of air pollution which also kills forests and waterways, plus global warming longer-term. 5.The cost savings to Americans will eventually be in the trillions. 6.Europe by the way is already way ahead of us on these systems. As are the Japanese. 7.And California is now leading the way in the US. Quite successfully I might add. But we have a long way to go. 8.Wont it be nice someday to see the Saudis begging us to please buy their newest export, solar power. heh heh Lots of deserts over there.

Your loose construction of this world view deserves elaboration; offer some proof for each of these rhetorical sentences and you might have a chance of convincing someone that your worth listening to.

Start with missle defense and how it's not ready to go...then proceed to sentence two, three, four.
