The backorders are probably responsible for the 1 cent disparity with the estimates, and the legal costs are non-reoccurring. The backorders will only make next quarter better. The big question, which is hard to calculate from the earnings release, is the actual impact of the additional royalty payments. All-in-all, I would have liked to see a surprise on the upside, but I don't think we'll see QDEL shareholders jumping out their windows, as Howie (the soon-to-be bull) would like to suggest.
