Anything that I should be considering other than IBM A, Dell 8200, and Toshiba Sattelite Pro? (Dunno if they have a slide-in hard drive option? I just liked the look of the display...)

My girlfriend had finally decided that she needed a laptop computer to supplement her older desktop computer (she is a teacher). I was recommending the IBM Thinkpads or the Toshiba notebooks. At one of my previous employers, the manager had a Dell laptop but leaned his elbow against the closed laptop computer on his desk and shattered the screen (that's my reason for any negative bias against the Dells). The IBMs are nice but the Toshiba came out ahead in value. Besides, the Toshiba was also on sale for $200 off regular price a couple of weeks ago so she bought a new basic Toshiba laptop at that time and has been quite pleased with it. Summary of features: Celeron-M 1.8GHz, 256MB RAM, DVD, ATI video, LAN, modem, XP Home.
